Green IT Training

Recent Work

Client: Corridor Manchester

SmartGreen designed and delivered a ‘carbon literacy’ training course for green IT professionals across the Corridor Manchester partnership. The session was designed to improve collaborative working across the member organisations in order to reduce energy consumption across the IT estate, which represents 30% of the partnership’s total energy demand. The training enabled the award of the Carbon Literacy Standard from Manchester Carbon Literacy.

Corridor Manchester is a partnership of the University of Manchester, Manchester Metropolitan University, Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Manchester City Council, focused on generating further economic growth and investment in Greater Manchester’s knowledge economy.
